Ray Charles was an iconic American musician, singer, and composer, often called “The Genius.” He was a pioneer in soul music, blending rhythm and blues, gospel, and jazz. Blind from the age of seven due to glaucoma, he didn’t let his disability stop him from mastering multiple instruments, especially the piano and organ.
